This is a turquoise colored lagoon formed in a collapsed volcanic caldera. Its summit at 3,850 m. above the sea level. Awalk take you down to the water in about 30 minutes-allow an hour to climb back up or you can hire a mule. From Quito to Latacunga 89km.
